In case you are wondering, Maldives consists of thousands of islands, with hundreds of islands are inhabited. You will land in Velana International Airport which is on Hulhule Island. From there, there's alot of MTCC ferry trips to Male. Hulhumale is a tourist island where you can visit (can see Chinese tourists there).
From Male, you can take various MTCC ferry to your preferred locations. Please note there's alot of jetties in Male. Make you are on the correct jetty to board your preferred ferry.
And of course, if you are rich, you can board the sea-plane to your island resort directly from Velana International Airport.
